These Blondies taste absolutely amazing! They are full of gooey white chocolate and delicious Strawberry Jam with a fun Snowflake topping for Christmas!
You can bake them into the disposable baking trays from my shop and give them away as gifts still in the tray. This recipe makes 2 disposable trays (or 1 large regular baking tray) and cuts into a total of 16 squares.
[fancy_header]You will need (makes 2 small trays / 16 squares):[/fancy_header]
- 125g Caster Sugar
- 75g Unsalted Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 100g Melted White Chocolate
- 150g Plain Flour
- 100g White Chocolate (chopped into small chunks)
- 3 Heaped Tbsp Strawberry Jam
- 20g Melted White Chocolate to drizzle
- Snowflake Sprinkles to decorate
- Disposable Baking Trays
To start, preheat your oven to about 170 degrees (fan assisted).
Cream together your butter and sugar in a large bowl, then add your eggs and vanilla essence and mix on a medium speed until well combined.
Next add your melted chocolate and mix again, you will have a runny mixture that almost looks like custard.
Now add the plain flour and mix a final time to get your delicious blondie batter.
Stir in your chocolate chunks using a wooden spoon then pour your blondie mixture into the baking trays.
For the delicious strawberry swirl addition, simply drop small blobs of jam on top of the mixture in your trays, then cut through the mixture with a knife, dragging the jam through the mix.
Bake in the middle of the oven for about 25 minutes (or until a cake tester or fork comes out clean) and transfer the trays to a wire rack to cool.
Drizzle your extra melted white chocolate over the blondies in lines from side to side, then place a few snowflake sprinkles on the chocolate before it sets.
Now simply serve and enjoy, these are especially awesome warm!
