Lots of you have been posting your baked goodies out recently so I got these fab disposable Baking Trays in the shop (8 for just £1.50) and I obviously had to test one out!
These brownies are gorgeous and gooey with Rolos inside and on top for extra yumminess.
[fancy_header]You will need (makes 1 gift tray):[/fancy_header]- 90g Dark or Plain Chocolate
- 65g Butter
- 115g Caster Sugar
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
- 1 Medium Egg (lightly whisked)
- 75g Plain Flour
- 2 Packs of Rolos
- 90g Milk Chocolate
- 60g White Chocolate
- Disposable Foil Baking Tray (Pack of 8 just £1.50 from www.icedjemsshop.com)
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees, mine is fan assisted to you may want to increase the temperature if your oven isn’t.
Melt your Dark Chocolate and Butter in a glass bowl over a saucepan of boiling water, stirring constantly until you have a thick melted chocolate mixture.
Remove from the heat and pour in your caster sugar, egg and vanilla essence, stirring well with a wooden spoon.
Next add your Plain flour and give a final stir, the mixture should be very thick and sticky.
Chop one pack of your Rolos into halves and pour into the mixture, stirring well throughout.
Spoon the mixture into your disposable baking tray and spread out until even. Place in the oven and bake for approx 25-30 minutes.
Once baked, place onto a wire rack to cool.
I added a White Chocolate Spoon to mine for decoration using the Chocolate Spoons Mould from my shop , I simply melted the white chocolate and poured it into the mould, then placed in the fridge to set. I popped the rest of the white chocolate into a disposable piping bag for later.
Next melt your milk chocolate and spread over the top of your cooled brownie in a thick layer.
Chop your second pack of Rolos into halves then sprinkles over the melted chocolate layer.
Finish with a piping of melted white chocolate and the White Chocolate Spoon and leave to set.
Now simply eat and enjoy! These are great as gifts or even to send in the post! I wrapped mine in a clear cello bag and tied with Blue Bakers Twine both available in my shop!
Enjoy,
Jem x
